Angel Wynn

Through photography, my creative intention is to instill in the viewer awareness and compassion for America’s First Nations. I strive to have my timeless photographs become a bridge between
American Indian heritage and the conventional non-Indian community.

My current work combines the ancient encaustic medium with contemporary images to produce one-of-a-kind artwork.

When encaustic wax is applied to the surface of images printed on absorbent papers or silk, they take on an ethereal dreamlike appearance.
