Workshop with Karen Milstein, 'The Interface of Art and Mental Health. What We Contain, What Contains Us - How We Can Grow Ourselves'.
This workshop provides an opportunity to examine and work with the values, hopes, thoughts, feelings, and strengths which we hold inside. We can consider what we cherish and choose to hold onto, what we want to release, and how to do so. Also we can address the outside forces which impinge on us and the boundaries we choose to set against intrusive negativity, while welcoming supportive and nurturing influences.
The physical vessels or containers we gather around us can support our journeys, encouraging us on our paths. All attendees who wish, will have the opportunity to form a small clay vessel.
A brief presentation will be followed by guided discussion and exploration. Attendance is limited to 10 participants, so plan to register early.
Suggested donation of $50 is payable at time of registration. There is an early bird fee of $40 if received by Mon. Sept. 18. Light refreshments included.
To register, please contact Karen Milstein, PhD, LISW, Psychotherapist, and Clay Artist at firstname.lastname@example.org or (505) 670-2906.
