LANDSCAPES REIMAGINED: Artist Tom McGee explores modern technologies such 3D printing, Chromadepth 3D painting, Digital Painting and Photography, to enhance representational and abstract landscape painting.

Opens on Friday April 5, with an artist reception 5-7pm

Show runs from April 1 thru to April 30, 2019

The New Mexico landscape has inspired artists ever since the era of petroglyphs.  Tom McGee is an experimental artist, exploring the landscape using modern technologies: 3D printing, 3D painting and photography. His work includes both representational landscapes and abstracted landscapes in acrylic paint on 3D printed and traditional wood panels. However, the use of technology is a servant to his artistic goal of celebrating the mysterious dance of light and life! His pallet of bold colors is rooted in the land. Tom hopes to inspire all artists to explore their subjects in new and transformational ways using modern technologies.  Bring your “Meow Wolf” 3D glasses for even more fun!
