Recent pastel paintings range from depictions of daytime through sunset and evening, always attuned to the passage of light on the land.
Silvia has exhibited extensively in the USA and Japan, and has been recognized with numerous awards. Professional memberships include American Society of Marine Artists, and signature statue in the Pastel Society of America, Pastel Society of New Mexico, and Plein Air Painters of New Mexico, where she has served as President and exhibition coordinator.
